Glenmorangie Scotch Whiskey Seminar with Ian Hosack

Single malt Scotch is a category far too often reduced and pigeonholed. Some will believe it’s only suited for whisky connoisseurs, others will think it’s all too smoky. However, no such limitation actually holds true. Single malt is a dynamic and varied category of whisky, with offerings that can appeal to a broad range of tastes, and by no means limited to smoky profiles.

Dr. Bill Lumsden, the director of distilling and whisky creation at Glenmorangie, brings his worldly creativity to the presentation of innovative Highland single malts. Glenmorangie’s ‘Tale of’ series is a perfect example, with uncommon production and casking methods bringing thematic flavor profiles to the fore. Ian Hosack, the regional Whisky Sales Manager of Glenmorangie and Ardbeg, will be joining us here at BayTowne on Thursday November 6th to pour and educate on exactly that.

From 6:00 to 7:30p.m. in the BayTowne seminar room, Ian will offer attendees the opportunity to taste through these expressions and give a full education on how they came to be.
