From Agave to Glass: A Tequila Seminar with Winebow at Aqua Vitae

Aqua Vitae has been a favorite partner of ours in planning events with our friends in the Rochester bar community. Winebow is one of our favorite distributor partners and we’ve had some great events with them as well. This first week of October, join Aqua Vitae, Winebow, and BayTowne Wine & Spirits as we all come together to celebrate some outstanding tequila producers. Engaging with such great brands as Siembra Alteño, Cascahuín, Tapatío, Casa San Matías, and ArteNOM, we’ll do a series of comparative tastings to explore what distinguishes different tequila expressions from one another. Attendees will enjoy tequilas poured in pairs to explore the differences in agave origin, barrel maturation, and other factors that contribute to the individual profiles. Cliff of Winebow, a well respected agave expert in the community, will be leading the seminar. Come with the expectation to leave better understanding why you like the tequilas that you do and what other offerings you may enjoy! And as always, you can count on some fantastic cocktails from Joe and Matt to highlight these tequilas in context! The seminar portion will take place from 6:00 to 7:30pm Thursday October 2nd, with tickets available for $25. Once the seminar concludes, the bar will open up and the mixing will start!
